Join us for a unique walk along the trail of the unknown Orłowo. Starting from the heart of the Globalica festival, by the former coach house, we’ll set off on a trail of manor legends and tales of the flora and fauna of Kolibkowo Park; we’ll learn about the architectural features, and we’ll end our walk in the former fishing village of Orłowo, discovering the history of buildings over a century old and the people who shape the neighbourhood’s atmosphere and culture. Thanks to this walk, we’ll also get to know the diverse cultures and communities that make Orłowo a unique place within the context of Pomerania!
Michał Miegoń – Museum curator, researcher of Gdynia’s history, two-time winner of the Mayor of Gdynia’s ‘Galion Gdyński’ Award in the categories: Cultural Promotion and Artistic Creation, and Musician. Initiator of the ‘Inne Szlaki’ walking tours, which promote little-known corners of Gdynia’s neighbourhoods.
