It all began with a blog, launched in 2010; today, Dział Zagraniczny is a small editorial team and Poland’s second-largest podcast on foreign affairs. Born out of disappointment with the Polish media, the project has become a role model. How did this come about? What topics, according to the editors, do Polish readers not find interesting? What are the highs and lows of running a media project? Maciek Okraszewski, founder of Dział Zagraniczny, will discuss all this in an interview.
Maciej Okraszewski – Founder of the International Department. He specialises in Ibero-American topics, though he is also keen to cover underreported events from other cultural spheres. Before devoting himself fully to the podcast, he published articles in, amongst others, the weekly magazine *Polityka*, *Gazeta Wyborcza*, Wirtualna Polska and Onet.
