The booth will feature domestic species of flying animals. We’ll talk about both those with a diurnal and nocturnal lifestyle, as well as those that prefer to live in groups or alone. We will consider how these different animals have adapted to their lifestyle, including where and how they live – in natural “houses” as well as those prepared by man in cities. A game of recognizing birds from the Vistula River awaits you, as well as a game in which we will take on the different roles of honey bees in a hive. We will also hear about the lesser-known wild solitary bees. There will be an opportunity to learn interesting facts about the life of bats, including what it’s like to form colonies and fly at night.

Green Fire is a youth-led organization founded in 2023, originating from an informal youth group. We create projects, workshops and trainings related to a wide range of natural and ecological issues, including biodiversity, climate change and greenery in the city. We are committed to increasing participation, that is, involvement in social and democratic life along with developing initiatives of young people. We work both locally and internationally, promoting environmental activism.
