“ImproBaja” is an improvised performance aimed at children aged 4 to 12. The story is based on a fairy tale invented by children.
Once upon a time there was a beautiful princess who was imprisoned by an evil dragon… no, wait, the dragon was beautiful and the princess was evil. No, no, it was a beautiful firefighter and an evil frog… or maybe it was Super Spider…? Who exactly? And what? Who will be the hero and what adventures await him – this will be decided by the children, because our story does not have a script yet, and what will happen on stage will be based on our viewer’s suggestions.
The heroes of the fairy tale and their adventures are created by the audience throughout the performance. The performance allows the viewer to unleash their imagination, train their creativity and teaches them responsibility in making decisions because every idea affects the fate of other characters. After the performance, the audience has the opportunity to talk to the young actors both about the topics discussed in the performance and about the way of working on stage and building roles.
