Honey watercolor workshop is a unique encounter with natural art. Participants will prepare with their own hands paints based on honey and gum Arabic, learning about the properties of pigments, the process of grinding them and layering techniques. The class combines the knowledge of traditional formulas with the practice of painting, providing the opportunity to create unique paintings and a profound experience of color. It’s a journey “from pigment to painting,” in the spirit of conscious creation
Creating your own honey watercolors is a process that combines craftsmanship, color alchemy and care for the quality of the materials used. These types of paints are distinguished by their subtle sheen, flexibility and silky distribution of pigment across the paper. The key to their uniqueness is honey – a natural humectant that prevents the paints from drying out, improves their water solubility and gives them a soft, velvety texture.
The finished paint is put into shells, molds or half-cubes that participants can take with them .
Natural honey watercolors are not only beautiful and durable, but also eco-friendly and personal. Thanks to their manual preparation, you can control the intensity, texture and uniqueness of the colors – making them the perfect tool for artistic and educational work.
