When the last sound of the Saturday’s concert fades away on stage, a completely different part of the night will begin – free, pulsating, open to dance and meeting. The Globaltica afterparty will be hosted this year by a special guest: DJ Click – a French producer, musician and selector who has been paving the way between electronics and traditional music from different corners of the world for years.

For years, DJ Click has been exploring the borderlands of club culture and traditional music, creating dance sets in which melodies and vocals from the Balkans, Maghreb, India, Latin America and Eastern Europe blend with a pulsating beat. His style is a fusion of genres such as dub, house, techno and global bass – but always with respect to the sources and a sense of their original energy.

What sets DJ Click apart is not only his selection and production – but also the fact that his performances are partly played live. During his sets, he reaches for a theremin, a drum kit, various types of percussion instruments and effects, which he processes in real time, giving the mix additional depth and an organic character. This combination of club trance and improvisation makes each of his performances a unique experience – a lively, pulsating journey through sounds and cultures.

DJ Click has performed at the most important world music festivals and European club stages, and his original remixes and productions are played by DJs all over the world. He will appear at Globaltica for the first time – but he will certainly leave an indelible memory. His afterparty is not just dancing until the morning – it is a celebration of diversity, freedom and community, which are the heart of the entire festival.
