Statistically speaking, each of us can devote 1000 days of our lives to exploring the world. The faraway one, tempting us with its otherness, requiring the hardships of travel and the uncertainty of traversing unfamiliar territories. As well as the closer one, more provident and tame, remaining at our lazy fingertips and rubbing up against tedious commonness. Although it is difficult to become an explorer today, the one spelled with a capital “O,” still each of us can make our own discoveries and create a personal map of blazed trails.

Ola and Wlodek Serwinski have been traveling for more than 30 years through the most diverse corners of the world, and we will visit with them both distant regions, such as Papua, Gobi, Kalahari or Patagonia, as well as closer ones, such as the Beskid Niski, the Balkans or Anatolia. They will tell us what they look for in travel, how they avoid being a regular tourist and what constantly inspires them to hit the road.
